Mission Statement

The Mission Statement of the Servants of the Redemptor

Our mission is to respond to the call of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for an “intensification of prayers and fasting for a new birth of freedom in our beloved country.” We aspire to imitate the fervor of the first Christians to fulfill the mission for the Church throughout the world by spreading the Good News. We look to our Blessed Mother who calls us to purity of the heart in order to accomplish this in the name of Her Son.

Spiritual Charism

Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we work to provide essential needs for the priests and religious in our community. Our intention is to provide a local support system with the means of sustaining the Church with basic goods and services. This support system will be carried out by our members. We gain our model from the early Church, who shared their gifts and provided servant help for the apostles, the first priesthood, enabling them to fulfill their mission as Shepherds of the early Church.
