In 2019 a group of us were considered to be a “general affiliation” of the parent Lay Dominican chapter of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Louisville, Kentucky. We were under their direct authority and working as a “transitory structure” of the Louisville chapter.
In 2020, at the behest of our local bishop, the Most Reverend Joseph M. Siegel, we began the twofold process of transferring our individual memberships from the Eastern Province (St. Joseph) and forming a Chapter in the Central Province (St. Albert the Great). As of November 1st 2021 our transfer has been completed and we have been formally recognized as a Chapter in Evansville, IN under the title The Woman Clothed With The Sun. See here:
